Further examples of declining regulatory and moral standards in the USA

I have, in the past, mentioned how securitisation was created by the US Government, and how the cultural basis for the revocation of the Glass-Steagall Act (by initially occasional, and later systematic, enablement or encouragement to flout the existing law) was laid by US politicians, legislators and regulators.

This pattern started, predictably, shortly after the decline of commitment to the Bible (from the 1950s and 1960s).

For the latest revelation of another example of that pattern, see: http://www.nytimes.com/2011/07/08/business/in-shift-federal-prosecutors-are-lenient-as-companies-break-the-law.html?_r=1

As Dr Mangalwadi argues in his latest publication, THE BOOK THAT MADE YOUR WORLD: HOW THE BIBLE CREATED THE SOUL OF WESTERN CIVILISATION (Thomas Nelson, just published), there will be no reversal of that trend till there is a renewed cultural commitment to the Biblical values of truth, justice and right-living.
